SUMMARY:Free Open Studio and Try Intuitive Painting@The Center for Creative Exploration\, San Francisco
DESCRIPTION:🎨 Discover the creative freedom of intuitive painting — a process-based practice guided by your intuition and inner creativity. Connect with yourself and community at The Center for Creative Exploration’s Open Studio\, an annual free event in collaboration with ArtSpan / SF Open Studios. \n  \nAll are welcome — absolutely no experience necessary. To reserve your spot\, sign up for one session (or two!). You’ll receive an orientation at the start time\, learn about intuitive painting and learn how to use the materials. You may stay and paint for as long as you like! \n  \n🗓️ Dates: Saturday\, Sept 20 & Sunday\, Sept 21 \nSaturday September 20: two sessions \n\n10am – 12:30pm\n2pm – 4:30pm\n\n*Drop ins are welcome! \nSunday\, September 21: two sessions \n\n10am – 12:30pm\n2pm – 4:30pm\n\n*Drop ins are welcome! \n  \n📍Location: The Center for Creative Exploration’s Open Studio is held at our painting studio in Glen Park\, San Francisco at 300 Chenery Street. \n  \n🧑🏽‍🎨What is intuitive painting? In our painting\, there is a lot of permission to explore and create. This is not a typical ‘art’ class in which you will learn techniques and methods of painting; instead you will be expertly guided to tap in and listen to your intuition and paint from your heart. We learn to pay attention to our own intuitive voice that is free from beliefs and concepts. In this way paintings happen spontaneously\, unplanned and unexpected! \n  \nAbout us \nEstablished in 1999\, the painting studio is a lively place filled with light\, color\, and the warmth of a community sharing a space in which to explore the creative process. The Center for Creative Exploration is a nonprofit organization that values freedom of expression with brush in hand and beyond. We are committed to creating a sense of community in our painting studio where people feel comfortable to be themselves in whatever way they choose. We are committed to providing an affirming\, welcoming\, and accessible studio for all people through co-creation and open communication. \nWe offer weekly adult classes\, community classes\, workshops\, retreats and kids/family classes. Check out our upcoming events here! \n  \n🖌️ For additional information on intuitive painting and our studio\, please visit our website or email ccepaintingstudio@gmail.com.
