Parking lot fills fast but there is ample street parking. There will be some food\, drinks\, and music. SFASA is taking over the entire pool and spray ground. Registrations are limited so please sign up early. You will receive an email confirmation and QR Code. \nEvent Costs: The $9/ticket subsidized fee will not even cover the venue fees for this event. On top of venue fees\, we will incur costs for food\, drink\, communication\, and backend event management. Please consider selecting the “cover full registration costs” option to help us continue to offer these events and to allow us to subsidize these events for those who cannot pay the full registration fee.

This class is designed for adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities that are not an active client of the Regional Center of the Eastbay. Note that RCEB does not permit active clients to pay out of pocket for services that they already fund.

DESCRIPTION:Join Specialized Recreation for a fun day on the water with BORP! BORP is a Berkeley based organization that provides safe flatwater kayaking for people with disabilities. BORP works with paddlers to maximize safety and independence on the water. Participants will engage in a water safety discussion\, spend time exploring the enclosed lagoon with BORP staff and volunteers\, and enjoy lunch with their peers after kayaking. Registrants will be required to complete a BORP membership form and will receive an email after registration with instructions on how to do so. This event is designed for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
