And as an extra special treat after your tour\, you will get to meet our family of reticulated giraffes where you will get up-close and personal! \nPre-registration is required and participants must provide their own bikes and bike locks. No strollers or scooters are allowed. All bikes need to be outside of the Zoo by 10 a.m. when we open to the general public. \nZoo Member – $45 per peddler\nNon-Member – $55 per peddler\nFree for children piggy-backing on an adult’s bike. \nZoo admission is not included. SUMMARY:Art in the Park: Plant Tunes at Half Moon Bay State Beach
DESCRIPTION:Listen to music made by plants–no\, really! Then create a unique piece of artwork inspired by the plant-made tunes. We will walk leisurely along the nature trail\, with several extended stops to listen to what the plants have to say using a piece of technology called PlantWave. You can use the provided supplies to create a unique artwork to take home with you. All ages welcome! \nPark in the day use lot of Half Moon Bay State Beach at 95 Kelly Avenue\, Half Moon Bay\, then walk to the campfire center at the north end of the campground where we will be meeting at 1:00pm. Please wear sun protection\, comfortable shoes\, and dress in layers as weather on the coast is variable. We recommend bringing a portable chair or cushion to sit on the ground with.
