About the instructor
Planet Bee Foundation is a nonprofit committed to fostering environmental stewardship and STEM education through the lens of pollinators. We empower future generations by teaching the importance of bees as a gateway to science, conservation, and sustainability. All program fees directly fund our free STEM Education Programs delivered to schools nationwide, ensuring access to all students. Together, we reach over 175,000 students and community members annually!
Planet Bee Foundation manages Google’s Mountain View hives at the Google Visitor Experience. During the design process, we studied how landscapes benefit both non-native and native honey bees, which will inform how we integrate honey bees into future ecological designs to promote biodiversity and local food production.
